The City of Bellville owns the Electrical distribution, Gas distribution, Water, Wastewater and Sanitation services within the City.

Prior to having any utilities connected, you must complete a Utility Service Application (found in the “Search Documents” section of our home page) and pay a deposit. You will receive one bill for all services and only one deposit is required.

Residential Deposits:
 $ 100.00  Owner-Occupied
 $ 200.00  Non-Owner-Occupied
 (Subject to adjustments for non-pay disconnects)

All meters are read as close to the 24th of each month as possible.  All utility bills are mailed on the last day of the month. Net payment is due in our office on or before the 10th day each month.  Gross payment is due after the 10th and on or before the 20th day of the month. Any bill left unpaid on the 21st will be dis-connected for non-payment. Web payments made after disconnect for non-payment must call City Hall to be re-connected due to additional fees.

WE HAVE A PAYMENT DROP BOX LOCATED IN THE NORTH WALL OF CITY HALL. PAYMENTS MAY PLACED IN THE DROP BOX AT ANY TIME. ANY PAYMENT THAT IS IN THE DROP BOX AT 8:00 AM ON THE FIRST WORKING DAY AFTER THE 10TH OR 20TH WILL BE CONSIDERED TIMELY. WE DO NOT CONSIDER THE POST MARK ON MAILED ITEMS.

WE MUST HAVE YOUR PAYMENT IN OUR OFFICE TO BE CONSIDERED TIMELY.
